Is the online rendering true to real life?

Yes. Each model is photographed in real light, with close-ups and dimensions listed what you see is what you get.

Where are your trays made?

Our wooden serving trays are handcrafted from birch veneer sheets by a Swedish company.

Is my tray dishwasher-safe?

All trays can go in the dishwasher when the size allows, but a simple wipe with a sponge and a little dish soap is usually enough.

Can I place a hot dish on it?

No, however, you can place a dish straight out of the oven directly on the tray.

Can I place food directly on the tray?

Yes, the tray is laminated with an eco-friendly coating approved for food contact.

How do I care for my tray so it lasts?

Follow the care instructions provided (rinse with water, a little dish soap, and a soft sponge). This helps preserve the illusion and the finish.

What sizes are your wooden trays?

Round serving trays are 38 cm and 49 cm in diameter; rectangular trays are 43 × 33 cm; and long trays are 15 × 32 cm.

How does a custom project work?

1) You fill out the form. 2) We call you back to define your needs, options, and quote. 3) After approval, we produce your trays and you receive them ready to use.

Is shipping free, and which carriers do you use?

In mainland France, shipping is free to pick-up points and lockers via Mondial Relay, Chronopost, and Relais Colis. Free shipping to Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands is available only via Mondial Relay.

Can I return my tray and get a refund?

Our products are covered by legal warranties, including the warranty against hidden defects (French Civil Code, art. 1641 et seq.). If an item is non-conforming, return it in its original packaging: Monboplato will refund it, exchange it, or take it back, excluding return shipping costs. All exchange or refund requests must be sent by email to monboplato@gmail.com within 15 days of delivery.
